I looked at videos of mtv cribs, showing a journey around a famous persons house. I was thinking about walking around my friends house, collaborating the images into a way in which it looks like i am videoing walking around the house.

Research
This is a video using stop motion, in a sequence to give the effect that you are watching a person walk around a place, in this case it is the british museum.
I want to use this technique in my video, walking round a specific place to show a journey.

Photography Tutorial
We had a photography tutorial, explaining the basics of how a camera works, and the differences between the TLR (twin lens reflex) where the image is shown in the top lens and taken through a second lens below, and SLR (single lens reflex) where a series of mirrors turns the image the correct way round.
They both use a physics called refraction;
The turning or bending of any wave, such as a light or sound wave, when it passes from one medium into another of different optical density.
Using a series of mirrors to change the direction of light to produce and image that you can see through the camera view finder.
Exposure
Exposure is the amount of light that reaches the sensor or film. It is controlled by aperture and the shutter on a camera.
Aperture
Aperture is controlled through the lens, opening and closing to let the desired amount of light in to the camera.
Focal number or Focal stop. Is the stages the lens can be opened at.
F22 F16 F11 F8 F5.6 F4 F2
F22 letting the lowest amount of light in, and F2 letting the most amount of light in.
Shutter
Shutter is controlled by the ISO speed. The slower the shutter speed the more light needed, and the faster the shutter speed the less light needed.
Measured in seconds.
1" 1/2 1/4 1/8 1/15 1/30 1/60 1/125 1/250 1/500 1/1000
Anything from 1" to 1/60 you should be able to hold the camera without camera shake.
However anything from 1/125 to 1/1000 you most probably will have to use a tripod, or other methods of keeping the camera still.
AWB
AWB (auto white balance) function on a camera, gives you the option to use in fluorescent lighting that will give a green tinge to the image. Tungsten lighting that will give a yellow tinge, or daylight that will give a blue tinge to the image.
Camera Functions
Green square = fully automatic
P = control apature and shutter speed
Tv = Time Value, choose shutter speed
Av = Aperture Value, choose aperture
M = Manuel
